Roasted Asparagus with Aged Gouda

1 bundle fresh asparagus

8 ounce wedge of Point Reyes Gouda

Balsamic Vinegar

Salt & Pepper

Red Chili Flakes


Pre-heat your oven to 425 begin prep on the asparagus. Bend the stalks a their weak point to snap off the tough ends. Then toss in olive oil, lay out on an even layer on a sheet pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until desired degree of doneness. Immediately after you remove the asparagus from the oven, play out on serving platter, drizzle on your favorite balsamic vinegar, and shave Point Reyes Aged Gouda on top. Adjust with additional salt and pepper if needed, or add on red chili flakes for an extra kick.
